Help MPHP strengthen and build a lifelineStress, burnout, mental health issues, behavioral issues, and substance misuse are significant challenges to healthcare Professionals. In a time of crisis, the healthcare professionals who are on the front lines are in crisis too, though they are often reluctant to admit that they need help due to the fear of stigma. When substance misuse and behavioral issues are impacting professionals, it often remains unaddressed until too late, resulting in great professional, financial, and personal impact, while putting the public at risk for harm. Treatment, recovery, and monitoring costs often keep these professionals from seeking and obtaining help as well. MPHP services rely heavily on contributions from various donors (currently 20% to 25% of total funding). Thanks to annual contributions, the MPHP can support the health, monitoring, and advocacy needs of healthcare professionals by providing program fee reductions and scholarship assistance. Your help is important and any amount will make a difference to those who cannot afford these services. |
